Daniel De Leon
Hybrid performance coach — former collegiate sprinter and pole vaulter now programming for runners, climbers and endurance athletes.

About Daniel
Daniel de Leon is a hybrid performance coach who builds balanced and personalized programs grounded in his extensive athletic and academic background.
A former collegiate sprinter and pole vaulter, Daniel's foundation is in blending explosiveness with precise technique and body awareness. He has since navigated a transition into rock climbing and endurance sports, running the NYC Marathon in 2024 and 2025 and is currently training for his first Hyrox race in 2026.
Daniel's athletic experience is supported by his continued education in health research. His academic experience includes research in Community Health & Fitness at Occidental College, where he studied Kinesiology, tutored peers in Anatomy & Physiology, and shadowed Physical Therapists. He is now pursuing his Master's in Biostatistics at NYU's School of Public Health, with a research focus on Physical Activity.
He has coached clients through athletic endeavors such as marathon prep and the high-school-to-collegiate sport transition. Daniel also values collaborative care, having coordinated directly with clients' physical therapists and orthopedic specialists to design effective pre-hab and post-operative rehabilitation programs.
His mission is to cut through the noise of an increasingly overcomplicated world of fitness by building balanced programs that prioritize building lifelong strength and mobility.
